It is created from repurposed single-use plastic bottles that are diverted or recovered from landfills or the sea. The recycled content is certified by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) using mass balance allocation1

Sustainability: By transforming plastic waste back into its basic chemical building blocks, Tritan Renew offsets the use of fossil fuels and lowers greenhouse gas emissions. It contributes to Eastman’s goal of recycling more than 250 million pounds of waste plastic annually by 2025 and more than 500 million pounds annually by 20301.
